CTS Network Subscription
Users must subscribe to GSM-CTS services authorizing them to use their mobile operator's frequencies.

Calls are billed to the user's fixed telephone line.

Users subscribe by acquiring tokens sent over the network authorizing them to use the system for a specific period. Renewal is transparent to the user and is routed to the CTS-FP by the terminal which receives it from the CTS-SN.

CTS Network Interfaces
CTS where necessary, GSM can communicate via the fixed network to exchange radio parameters, subscription tokens and mobility management information.

GSM-CTS Services
Both GSM and fixed networks offer a range of services :

• Originating / terminating calls
• Voice mail
• Short messages
• Data
• Supplementary
