CTS System Architecture • CTS-SN : Th Service Node, connected to the fixed and mobile networks. It offers three management functions: CTS-SN/HLR, CTS-SN/FRA and SN/VLR • CTS-SN/HLR : The Home Location Register is the CTS service user manager • CTS-SN/FRA : The Frequency Allocation unit is the CTS frequency manager. • CTS-FP : The fixed part is the base station. It incorporates a radio interface with the mobile sets and a fixed line interface to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). • CTS-MS : The Mobile Station is a GSM set with CTS-compliant software. • CTS-SIM : the Subscriber Identity
Module is a smart card containing GSM subscription information
modified for CTS service.
