‘Intelligent typing’ is synonymous for Tegic T9. ‘Intelligent typing’ allows the user to write messages simply and quickly via the keypad using an in-built dictionary. Siemens' "Intelligent Typing" uses an in-built dictionary to recognise probable words being entered via the mobile phone keypad by a user writing a SMS or email message.

Based on the T9_TM version developed by Tegic, Siemens' "Intelligent Typing" will recognise probable variants based on the first letter entered, quickening and simplifying the whole message writing process.
