Siemens it has introduced new " entry-level " the A40.

The Siemens A40 is available in six different colours, with interchangeable covers.

It is dual band GSM 900/1800, vibrating alert, SMS facility, clock, last calls made and received calls. It weighs 122 grams and has a volume of 106cm3, 2 hours of talk time, and 150 hours standby.

The A40 will be available from June 2001 in anthracite blue, royal blue, curacao blue, raspberry red, apple green, lemon yellow and citrus orange.
