SAGEM SA has combined 2 of its main know-how: mobile phone and smart card electronic transactions

The mobile commerce software application is loaded either in the SAGEM smart battery either in the operator' s SIM card. In addition to its electronic banking functions, the SAGEM MC 840M remains a powerful and ultra-compact handset

Thanks to its battery equipped with two smart cards readers, the SAGEM MC 840M is open to brand new services such as:
  • Secure remote electronic payment (bank cards, EMV, e-purse,..)
  • Secure remote reloading : e-purse, pre-paid cards,..
  • New value added services : remote account checking, remote secure bank orders…

The SAGEM MC 840 M is an open system allowing smart card management :

  • ISO format card: end holder card (bank cards, EMV cards, e-purse, loyalty cards…)

  • Plug-in format card: software applications, SAM, merchant card…
