Philips Xenium DB is a dual band (GSM 900 and 1800) phone with an exciting new user interface concept that has a large, graphic LCD window and a real voice command capability. The unique carousel allows intuitive, one-finger navigation through the menus by using the new Pilot key. 

Self-explanatory smart icons help to identify the location in the menus, and all symbols are shown in an internationally understandable graphical form for easy, language-independent use. 

Xenium also recognizes and executes commands from the user, for example to select specific phone functions, and a voice car kit is optionally available to maximize driving safety.

The phone reflects the owner’s taste with a choice of three sophisticated metallic colour finishes – Fantom, Pelican and Silver Blue. Completing Xenium’s high-class appearance is the flip cover, which neatly closes the phone and covers the keypad when it is not in use.

You can also send via SMS ‘Emotion Icons’ using the GSM Short Message Service (SMS) feature. These expressive images are received by other owners of compatible Philips mobile phones as a range of displayed icons conveying emotions.
