GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is the newest generation of mobile data communication technology, and allows information to be received up to 4 times as fast as conventional wireless data communication. Its ‘flat carousel’ user interface uses icons shown on the phone’s large graphic display to visually express specific functions of the phone.
