The new GD93 measures just 118 x 40 x 15
mm and weighing only 78 grams it is comfortable in the hand and
won’t weigh shirt pockets down. Its all over stylish metallic finish is
available in an enticing range of colours.
Panasonic has broken its own battery performance standards with the GD93, enabling even longer conversations. Providing a massive 210 minutes of talktime or 170 hours of standby time, with the standard 650 mAh Li-ion battery. The GD93 also supports both triple rate voice codec for enhanced sound quality and dual band technology for greater roaming possibilities. The GD93 has been cleverly engineered to include many unique features such as Internet mail (PPP mail), for cost effectively accessing and sending e-mails via your local Internet Service Provider. A recordable ringer tone for recording any voice or sound as a distinctive and personal ringing tone - be it a dog barking or a baby screaming, the choice is yours! Combined with a convenient desktop handsfree and voice command facility, email content can be conversed without needing to use the hands. The GD93 also includes Tegic T9, the intelligent text input software for quick and easy message sending. An extra-large 6 line display and a choice of 4 colour LCD backlights, promotes improved call and message management. The dicta phone and voice memo functions allow the user to record either themselves or the caller, to help remember those important facts. Whilst the currency converter, calculator and auto world clock make travelling even more effortless. This is all teamed with predefined SMS messages, a built in vibration alert and 100 phonebook memory, all features you would expect on a Panasonic mobile. A new range of accessories is available with the GD93 including a travel charger, a car kit and car charger, a charging stand and personal handsfree. To help in transporting your phone, carry cases and straps are available. Since the GD93 is both fax and data compatible, an executive pack containing a CD and interface cable is available to take advantage of its Software Modem facility.
