What is Bluetooth?

Nokia and FujiFilm have developed Bluetooth-enabled 9110 and a FujiFilm digital camera that can communicate with one another using Multimedia Messaging Services (MMS).

Nokia is enabling digital image messaging - a user takes a picture and mails them via the Nokia 9110 to FujiFilm.net for prints.

How it works:

The user takes a picture with the Fujifilm digital camera.
They then open the MMS application in the Nokia 9110 and trasnfer the image via Bluetooth. A few lines of text and the image can be sent.

Or the image (in JPEG format) can be sent to the FujiFilm centre where it can be viewed, printed and save on CD-R.

Once the MMS image is in the Nokia 9110, it can also be sent as an attachment to another Nokia 9110 or to a PC for viewing.
