Satellite Phone Rental company All Road Communications has  introduced 'Shared Minutes.' for satphone rentals

"With Hurricane Season fast approaching more and more our customers are renting multiple phones at the same time, and when they buy a bundle of discounted prepaid minutes they want to be able to use those minutes across all of their satellite phones, so now they can," said All Road's Scott Lindsey.

"You never know which satellite phones will make or receive the most calls, so if all the minutes are shared it no longer matters" he said.

All Road Communications presently offers prepaid bundles of minutes, which offer savings over the base rates.

"Our base rental minute rates are usually the lowest in the satellite phone rental industry, with Iridium base rate minutes at $1.79, and Globalstar at $1.59. Iridium rental minutes go as low as $1.25, and Globalstar as low as $1.25."

All Road Communications offers the Motorola 9505A sat phone for the Iridium Network for $34.99 per week, and the Globalstar GSP-1600 sat phone for the Globalstar Network for $19.99 per week.
