Telefónica Móviles España, the largest mobile operator in Spain, and Outsmart Ltd, the leading provider of network convergence solutions and Intelligent Networks (IN) based solutions, will deploy the first service of seamless integration of voice over IP communications through a PC and a mobile network. This service will be demonstrated at 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, February 13-16.


The Fixed Mobile Convergence Solution, SmartFMC(TM), will be available via the "Plug 'n Talk" service: a preloaded softphone on a USB memory stick. Attendees, will obtain a movistar number, preloaded with EUR15 prepaid credit, and will be able to make and receive calls though their PCs, using the Telefónica Móviles mobile network.


Telefónica Móviles has integrated the SmartFMC(TM) solution in its network, which allows the same services that are currently available on the users mobile phone to be accessible on their PC, via the Plug 'n Talk service.
