Japans Softbank to launch broadcast service for mobile phones in 2012 |
Feb 23 2006 Softbank Corp plans to start around 2012 a
nationwide video broadcasting service for cellular phones. The company plans to apply for a broadcasting
license as early as 2007, it said. Softbank plans to offer both free programming with
commercials and paid content, the report said
