Vodacom to Launch HSDPA 3G Services in Tanzania |

Vodacom Group syas it will launch a 3G mobile network in Tanzania this
year using HSDPA. It forms part of a $1.3 million
capital outlay to extend its existing Tanzanian GSM network. The 3G network will initially
only have coverage in the capital Dar es Salaam. Vodacom operates networks in
South Africa, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho and
Mozambique. It has a 3G network in South Africa
