Teles says Nokia 6136 GSM Wifi Phone violates VoIP patent |
Feb 22 2006 In a twist for Nokia's hegemony over smartphone mobile phones, Teles
claims that the Nokia 6136 Wifi GSM phone violates its German and
European VoIP patents. It has sused Nokia at the Landgericht Mannheim court saying Nokia
violated its GSM fallback' functionality patent held since 1996. Teles also reporetdly wants to sue some providers of VoIP products
with 'line-switching fallback' functionality for fixed and/or mobile
networks.
