PlayPhone(R) a leading direct to consumer mobile content destination, today announced a definitive agreement with Hands-On Mobile, a leading global publisher of mobile- lifestyle, games and personalization products. Under the terms of the agreement, PlayPhone will distribute top Hands-On Mobile titles through its direct-to-consumer channels at retail, online and via the mobile web. New game titles are to include mega hits such as Marvel's X-Men Legends, Dracula, and the arcade smash Puzzle Bobble.


"PlayPhone is a premier destination for mobile entertainment and with our many public consumer touch points, we offer huge distribution value for mobile content publishers," said PlayPhone's Vice President of Business Development Dave Bell. "We welcome Hands-On Mobile to the PlayPhone channel and are looking forward to bringing its fantastic content to our users."

A sample of the titles now available to PlayPhone's users through Hands-On Mobile include:

* Dracula: In this sideways scrolling platform game, players take on
the role of Dracula's daughter (EVE). Their aim is to retrieve all
the parts of Count Dracula's body by fighting their way past Vampire
hunters and doing battle with Joanna Von Jager the guardian of
Dracula's remains. She must move carefully as some parts of the
game will take part during daylight; if she is caught in direct
sunlight for too long she will die. Minor exposure will result in
loss of health. Upon the successful defeat of Von Jager, the player
will get to see an interstitial illustrating how much of Count
Dracula has been re-assembled. The game ends when the player
defeats Von Jager, Count Dracula is re-born and the Vampire dynasty
is restored to the world. At the conclusion, the player will see an
interstitial sequence showing Dracula completely assembled and
rising from the grave. The scene then cuts to show a view of the
Earth falling into shadow.
* X-Men Legends 2: To defeat the greatest evil, the X-Men will join
their greatest enemy: Magneto and his evil Brotherhood. Based on the
sequel to the blockbuster Activision console game, you must form
your own team from a choice of five different mutants, including
Magneto, Juggernaut and Wolverine. Use awesome combo attacks and
upgrade your abilities by collecting experience points and spending
them to improve your powers. Each character has mutant abilities,
from Juggernaut's devastating ground attacks to Wolverine's
Berserker Frenzy. With incredible graphics and sound this is the
greatest comic book adventure ever seen on mobile.
* Puzzle Bobble: Another retro-style classic, Puzzle Bobble is an
intriguing puzzle game where you must try to link up bubbles and
clear them from the screen, using bank shots for the hard to reach
areas. Match three in a row to stay in the game. Play by yourself or
with a friend where the object is to clear your screen first.
