Nera has signed a contract of approximately 60 MNOK (9.6 MUSD) with the Ethiopian operator ETC. The contract is regarding equipment for a mobile network, and includes both own radio links (PDH/SDH) as well as equipment sourced from other vendors.

"The outlook for the project market for Nera in Middle East and Africa in 2005 is substantially improved compared with previous years," states President of Nera Networks, Øyvind Isaksen.
