MTN SMSpop to close down |
Jan 3 2005 On 31 March 2005 MTN's global two-way SMS service,
smspop, will be shut down. Launched by MTN South Africa, this has been one of
the most succesful two-way SMS services in the world. It was preceded by
the highly used www.mtnsms.com service. Users are no longer able to purchase pops, and
have 90 days to use up existing pop credits.
