E-Plus, the German mobile subsidiary of KPN, has increased its customer base by 937,000 customers or 13% to 8.206 million at the end of 2003, with a Q4 increase of 242,000.

The growth of post paid customers was more than 14% and the post paid share for 2003 was 47% of the total customer base.

The revenue for 2003 increased by 11% to EUR 2.453 billion compared with EUR 2.202 billion in 2002 and E-Plus' Q4 revenue increased to EUR 644 million from EUR 610 million in Q4 2002.

The number of i-mode customers at the end of 2003 amounted 440,000, with 82,000 pre-paid customers.
