Sharp has selected Ericsson Mobile
Platforms to supply GSM/GPRS mobile platforms, extending their successful
corporation in 3G to GSM/GPRS.Under the
license agreement Ericsson will supply Sharp its quad-band G210 platform
for GSM/GPRS. The G210 is a compact and powerful GSM/GPRS platform with
less than 100 components, best in class power consumption and advanced
integrated multimedia feature support.

the world and we are very happy that our G210 platform meets their
requirements," says Sandeep Chennakeshu, President of Ericsson Mobile
Platforms. "Our GSM/GPRS platform is among the most stable and widely
tested platforms in the world."
