New WLAN Standard WAPI |
14 Dec 04 The Wireless LAN Authentication & Privacy Infrastructure (WAPI)
standard has been deliberated upon by the ISO (International Standards
Organisation) during the ISO/IEC JTC1 SC6 session, says China Tech News.
The standard will be debated within ISO/IEC JTC1 SC6 together with
the US 802.11i standard, and WAPI will be placed on the agenda of the
SC6 WG1 meeting due in February 2005.
