2004-11-Jan O2 Germany's CEO Rudi Groeger said the mmO2 alliance was eyeing up Bouygues
Telecom, Cingular and AT&T Wireless, and some companies in Greece to join.
"Our
focus is France, the U.S. and Greece because of the Olympics in 2004," Groeger
said.
"The alliance board is talking to them and we will see when and if they
will join," Reuters quotes Groeger.
The alliance currently includes mmO2's units
in Britain, Germany and Ireland as well as Austria's One, Wind in Italy, Spain's Amena, Telenor Mobil and Hungary's Pannon GSM, and sunrise in Switzerland.
