New service to locate children's mobile handset

MobileLocate has launched ChildLocate, a service to enables parents to locate their children's mobiles anywhere in the UK.

The service works works with Vodafone, o2, T-Mobile and Orange and costs EUR 14.10 (£9.99) per month per family, which includes a monthly allowance of 10 location requests and 10 short text messages.

The ChildLocate service is accessible via the Internet or with the use of text messaging on your mobile phone.

The child's location is shown on a map if using the web page, or as a text if using a mobile phone to locate the child. The location is accurate from 50-500 meters in urban areas but less in rural areas.
