June 3 2003 Hutchison 3G UK has entered into an agreement with 2dayuk, the multimedia arm of the UK's leading news agencies, to provide regional news content for its third-generation mobile multimedia and communications services. Under the agreement, 2dayuk is providing 3 with breaking regional news and pictures from its fifteen offices across the UK. This content includes all the latest on the major regional and local news stories of the day, general and local entertainment news and accompanying pictures, all of which is accessible through 3's news service. "Our news service ensures our customers have access to greatest possible breadth of news and pictures through their 3 handset, including international, business, entertainment and local news. Our agreement with 2dayuk ensures we are providing our customers with the up to the minute regional and local news from across the UK."
