Sendo, the UK-based mobile phone manufacturer, has filed a
lawsuit against its former partner Microsoft, because of misuse of
proprietary information used in its mobile handsets, according to a report
by the Financial Times.
Last month the co-operation agreement between the two companies to
lintroduce a mobile handset running on Microsoft's "Stinger" operating
system, was canceled.
Sendo had been one of the main manufacturers enabling Microsoft to
deliver its "Smartphone" to the European market. Microsoft would have
adopted some of the features Sendo had introduced during their alliance, in
other Smartphones that Microsoft has been developing with different
partners.
The handset maker has filed the suit in a federal court in Texas in the
US.
