EU Approves Sharing of Wireless Data Networks

 The European Commission said it intends to permit Deutsche Telekom's T-Mobile International and Britain's mmO2 to share base stations and other infrastructure in Britain and Germany.

Sharing the infrastructure could save the companies about $5 billion on construction of their high-speed wireless networks.
