Virtual
Phone for Windows CE 2.11 and Windows Pocket PC is a low cost piece
of software for you window CE and Pocket PC machine. It gives you
simple and easy access to the functions of your cellular phone via
the irDA port on the phone and the irDA port of the PDA. If offers SMS
Messaging and Phonebook Management. And a bonus Free Fax
application is bundled into the package for WAP enabled phones (Note
Class 1 fax only) - The FAX application is provided as a bonus
application and is therefore not supported.

Useful hint -
Even if you don't purchase Virtual Phone for Windows CE you can use
the modem of your phone with irDA port of your CE machine to access
Internet services like E-mail and WWW via the irDA port on you
cellular phone (no ISP, mail or Browser software is provided but
this is widely available from the Internet
- Simply run the application
Lsetup.exe from the CD ROM or download it for free of our web site.
- Run it on your PC with the CE machine connected and then configure
your applications to use the modem on your CE machine .

(Note that Voice Tags are not moved
along with phone numbers from the SIM card or phone memory - For
example - if you have a voice recognition phone and a voice tag
stored against location 3 of the sim card - Changing the number in
position 3 will not change the voice tag and in effect your voice
tag will dial an incorrect number - You should therefore manually
adjust the voice tag from the phone)
