| ThunderWAP™ for IIS transforms any Microsoft Internet Information Server™ into a WAP 1.1 compliant server. With ThunderWAP™ for IIS, companies can offer their customers direct access to WAP content using Microsoft Corporation's industry standard World Wide Web server platform. With ThunderWAP™ for IIS third-party gateways are no longer required. A simple upgrade process adds Wireless Access Protocol version 1.1 binary compatibility to an existing Internet Information Server installation. ThunderWAP™ for IIS eliminates response time degradation, security concerns, and separate gateway installation and maintenance problems. Further products in the ThunderWAP™ series will follow the ThunderWAP™ for IIS 1.0 release. These products will add WAP capabilities to popular web servers running on several computer platforms. Standalone WAP gateway and server products on UNIX and Windows NT platforms will be available by Q3 2000. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY ThunderWAP™ for IIS 1.0 is available in two versions.
