Nokia 61xx Startup Logo Editor (NSLE) allows you to modify your startup logo on your Nokia 61xx series phone. It allows you to place your favourite BMP file on your 61xx phone screen.

Requirements:

	Nokia 61xx phone (Nokia 51xx will not work with this software)
	Nokia DAU-9P or TDK GlobalPulse serial cable (InfraRed does not work!) or a GSM network SMSC.
	DCom98 for Windows 95 (provided free via link below)
	Visual Basic 6 (provided free via link below)
	You must first remove the welcome text on the Nokia 61xx

Note:
You cannot use an InfraRed (IrDa) connection to modify the logo as the Nokia MBUS protocol used with the NSLE does not operate with the IrDa FBUS protocol. 

But you can now also send the graphic to the 61xx phone via SMS using the new Nokia Smart Messaging Agent software available here for download. 

The Nokia Startup Logo Editor is distributed as shareware. You´re entitled to use it only for evalution purposes for a period of 10 days. After this time you have to register or stop using it. IMPORTANT NOTE

You need the DCOM98 update even if you have Windows 95 installed.

If you have Windows NT 4 you must install Service Pack 5 instead of installing DCOM98.
