They will simply call the Vodacom Customer Care Center where an operator will redial that number and reconnect the subscriber free for the first minute. If during a conversation, a call drops, the caller will be able to "reconnect" to that dialed party by simply calling the Vodacom Customer Care Center. The Vodacom operator will then redial that number and connect the caller free of charge for the first minute of that reconnected call. This one minute period is designed to allow the conversation to be completed with ease. Vodacom will only bill the subscriber for additional air time used past that first free minute. Vodacom monitors usage to prevent abuse of the courtesy service.
