There are a number of types of cellular packages available from MTN

Bundled Billing Pre-paid
Companion Companion pay-as-you-go
Pulse Receive-a-lot
Performer call-a-lot
Pinnacle  

These should be chosen according to your expected usage.

  • MTN charges in increments of 60sec & 30 sec thereafter

  • There is an extra monthly subscription charge for incoming data/fax
  • Some Data rates are cheaper than standard voice rates.
  • HSCSD Data call rates are the same rates for the same voice periods and packages.
  • Call rates differ according to the Telkom Primary Exchanges (PE) used
